This a view of the main worship area before the horizontal split of reconstruction. A floor was added at roughly the height of the gallery creating an upper worship area and downstairs hall and coffee area |
This is the view the preacher would have had. Today the wooden pews have gone and the pulpit would now be in the hall looking towards the kitchen. |
The organ was built and erected in 1923 at the cost £1050 as a peace memorial following WWI. It was renovated in 1950’s |
The baptistery, sited in front of the organ. Today this is under the store cupboard at the back of the Church hall. |
How it is now (upstairs), you can still see the arch from the old layout, the baptistery is on the left under the banner. |
