This page permits members of Salisbury Baptist Church to access documents that are circulated for discussion and information.
You will find the Minutes of Church Meetings, along with Agendas, Issues Papers and the private Members Directory, which lists their contact details.
It is protected by a password, which members may obtain from the Church Administrator. Information in this area is private to members and should not be distributed outside those who are in full membership with the church.
Baptist Churches hold the privileges of membership with respect as they deeply value the contribution made by their members to discussion in Church Meetings and the right to elect their Ministers, Elders, Office Bearers and Trustees. We strongly encourage our members to exercise their responsibilities as church members as we seek to serve Christ in the many opportunities that he presents to us and |

through attendance at services, meetings, mission work, church activities and housegroups.
We currently have around 160 members in fellowship with us at Salisbury Baptist Church. We hold what is called Open Membership – that is, we admit anyone to our membership who holds a clear testimony of Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour and who seeks to be identified as a Baptist in the Community, subject to the disciplines and doctrines of the Church.
We baptise by immersion those who have come to faith in Christ on their confession of faith, in accordance with the traditions taught in Holy Scripture (Romans 6: 4) but we extend the hand of fellowship through membership to all who proclaim Christ, regardless of the mode of their baptism. We welcome all believers, regardless of denomination or tradition, to the Lord’s Table and warmly encourage them to share in our Communion.
For a fuller description of our terms of membership, manner of government and conduct of Church Meetings, please refer to our Church Constitution.
Should you wish to discuss how to become a member of Salisbury Baptist Church, please have a word with our Minister or one of the Elders.
